Le Trait d'union's objective is to ease workplace integration for candidates referred by Emploi-Québec, through a combination of services offered to participants in both official languages. Our prime objective is to help candidates find work, or get back to work, as quickly as possible.

Target Clientele

The type of customers that can receive our employment services is said to be "general". It includes people in the following categories:

  • employment insurance claimants;
  • unemployed persons;
  • social assistance recipients.

The client must be ready to integrate into the labour market.

Employment Follow-up

Once the candidate finds work, Le Trait d'union's employment counsellors ensure availability and will remain in regular contact with them. Furthermore, Le Trait d'union's team will answer all questions and discuss any problems that arise after employment.

Our goal is not only to find a job for the candidate, but also to ensure that the employment remains stable and permanent, the key to success.

We also stay in periodic contact with candidates who are actively looking for work. In fact, we call candidates, and even arrange meetings at our office, to guarantee that they remain active in their employment process. In other words, we always ensure follow-up.
