Who We Are

History

Le Trait d'union is a non-profit organization founded in 1994. Thanks to our partnership with Emploi-Québec, we have the advantage of offering different employment services to candidates who seek work.

Situated in Dorval, our organization serves mainly the West-Island territory. Our services are free and are offered in both official languages.

Le Trait d'union's Profile

On the strength of our vast and solid experience in the employability field, we at Le Trait d'union offer a large spectrum of bilingual services in two major domains:

  • job search, and
  • major employability events for people eager to find work.

Throughout the years, Le Trait d'union's team have adapted itself to the new standards regulating the labour market. We are now better equipped to respond more adequately to the needs of each individual. We have taken steps to promote job market integration for applicants:

  • we built a network of employers;
  • we adapted our employment services to the current needs;
  • we developed a recruitment service with the collaboration of some companies.
